Microbus
Electric bus, also known as electric medium bus, is powered by on-board power supply. It includes battery electric vehicle (BEV), hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV). Three core components: battery, motor and electric control.
The electric bus includes battery electric vehicle (BEV), hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV). All vehicles use electric energy to drive. These products have low noise, high driving stability and zero emissions. The electric bus has good power performance, long battery life (more than two years) and low cost, and is well equipped with the whole vehicle. Vehicles meeting the requirements of road traffic and safety regulations.
Public transport service buses and electric minibuses are characterized by environmental protection, economy and low noise.
In 2018, electric vehicles saved 280000 barrels of oil every day in the world, 84% of which was attributed to electric buses. China owns 99% of the world's electric buses. In other words, China's electric buses are the number one players in the process of global transportation turning to clean energy.
Electric buses consume 30 times more fuel than ordinary cars. Compared with new energy cars produced by Tesla and Toyota, which are familiar to everyone, electric buses have a more profound impact on the energy and fuel industry.
For every 1000 electric buses on the road, 500 barrels of oil are left nowhere every day.
According to the research of Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF), as of 2017, there are 386000 electric buses carrying passengers in the world. It is estimated that by 2025, the number of electric buses running on the road will reach 1.2 million, and about 47% of the global buses will be electrified.
Exhaust emissions from internal combustion engines are one of the sources of urban air pollution, for which many cities have spared no effort in promoting electric vehicles. Replacing diesel powered buses with electric buses is one of the most effective ways to reduce pollutant emissions and improve urban air quality.
At the end of 2017, Shenzhen has achieved 100% transformation of electric buses, and is also one of the cities with the highest penetration rate of electric taxis in China. At present, there are more than 20000 pure electric taxis in Shenzhen, and the electrification rate of cruise taxis has reached 99.06%.
In addition to the benefits of improving urban air, the total cost of ownership of electric buses is also lower than that of traditional buses.
Bloomberg New Energy Finance has made a settlement:
An electric bus is equipped with a 100 kilowatt hour battery and the most expensive wireless charging device. It travels about 60000 kilometers every year. Its total cost of ownership is the same as that of a diesel bus.
However, the manufacturing cost of electric buses is much higher than that of traditional buses. Only when the mileage increases, can the advantages of low-cost operation of electric buses emerge.
Domestic electric buses have been put into use in Nepal, Chile, Egypt, the Philippines, Japan and other countries, among which BYD, Hagecun, Golden Dragon Bus and other manufacturers have exported new energy buses.
