Huawei's All-New Aito M7 is Coming Soon
Huawei and Seres' all-new Aito M7 large EREV crossover has officially debuted in China. It shares design language with the previously launched Aito M8. The all-new M7 will enter the domestic market in September 2025 to boost the model's slowing sales. The new Aito M7 may also enter overseas markets under the Seres brand.
Launched in 2022, the Aito M7 is an EREV crossover based on the Dongfeng Feilong ix7 gasoline-powered SUV. At the end of 2023, Huawei and Seres launched the updated Aito M7 in China, with a significant price cut boosting sales.
According to data from the Chinese electric vehicle data tracking company, M7 sales fell 71% in the first half of 2025. This year, Huawei will launch the all-new M7 crossover to boost sales again.

The all-new Aito M7 large crossover adopts the "Interstellar Matrix" design language introduced with the Aito M8 SUV. The new model features a closed front end with glove-shaped headlights and a pylon-shaped air intake. It also has flush door handles, multi-spoke wheels, chrome trim, and a single taillight unit.
The new Aito M7's pillars and roof rails are blacked out. Another feature is a roof-mounted lidar sensor. The new SUV is highly likely to adopt Huawei's ADS 4 ADAS. Its core features include full-speed collision avoidance, parking assistance, and roundabout navigation. The exterior color is a new "Coral Red." No information is currently available on the dimensions of the new Aito M7. It will likely remain the same as its predecessor. Its length, width, and height are 5020/1945/1760 mm, respectively.
The new Aito M7's powertrain is likely to adopt an EREV system similar to the M8 crossover. Its all-wheel drive model produces a peak power of 392 kW (526 hp) powered by a 37-53.4 kWh battery. Under the hood, the Aito M8 has a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 118 kW (158 hp). It’s worth noting that the entry-level Aito M7 will likely feature a RWD variant with a single electric motor producing 227 kW (304 hp).
