Leapmotor Auto deliveries exceed 800,000 vehicles
On June 18, Leapmotor Auto announced that its cumulative deliveries exceeded 800,000 vehicles. According to the company, from January to May this year, Leapmotor Auto's cumulative export sales exceeded 17,200 vehicles, ranking first among China's new energy vehicle startups.
Leapmotor New Energy Vehicle was founded on December 24, 2015. Subsequently, the company was listed in Hong Kong in September 2022, becoming the fourth Chinese new energy vehicle startup to be listed in Hong Kong after NIO, Xpeng Motors and Li Auto. From 2022 to 2024, Leapmotor Auto's cumulative sales were 111,100, 144,100 and 293,700 vehicles respectively.
In January 2019, Leapmotor launched its first pure electric model, the Leapmotor S01, but sales were poor (less than 3,000 units from 2019 to 2021), and it was discontinued in 2022. On May 11, 2020, Leapmotor launched the T03 mini EV, with a range of 400 kilometers and a price range of 65,800-75,800 yuan (9,160-10,550 US dollars). The sales of the T03 far exceeded the S01, with sales of 10,266 units in 2020, 11,391 units in 2021, and 61,919 units in 2023.
Currently, Leapmotor has a total of six models on sale, including the T03, C01, B10, C10, C11 and C16.
